In 1997, World and National Disabled Water ski Champion, Ann O'Brine approached us about designing a disabled water-ski. After studying the products that were available and through discussions with Ann we developed a prototype and have constantly improved on that skis abilities. Lee Hester, of DWSA's "HP Water skis and Equipment", took great interest in the sport of water-skiing for the children and adults with disabilities. In 2004, He formed and presides over the new LiquidAccess Water Ski Company and the "Disabled Water Ski Association Inc." a nonprofit organization that promotes and sponsors water-skiing among those with disabilities.
Since 1998, we have continued to develop and design and manufacture Ann's Ski, a beginner Sit-Ski, a competition Sit-Ski and a "Beginner Clinic" Sit-ski. We sponsor National and World team members and are looking forward to the sports growth and the setting of new records and assuring consumers that they are skiing on the state of art design and materials. "LiquidAccess" also designs and manufactures custom Sit-Ski Cages, slings, handles, toe plates, Sit-Ski bags and equipment bags.
"Those that experiences a learn to ski clinic are hooked and never quite the same". "LiquidAccess" has brought the world of disabled water-skiing into the 21st century of technology for those wanting to be independent and those wanting to set records. .
